She led them into the forest, Thistlefern trailing them a little ways away. Once they got to Snakerocks where cats rarely came, she sat down and Thistlefern caught up to them.

Thistlefern looked down and scuffled his paws self-consciously. Rainbird sighed and looked Snowpaw in the eyes, Thistlefern obviously wasn't going to say it. "Batclaw and Floodpaw are going to kill Bramblestar." She muttered quietly

“What?!” Snowpaw screeched, jumping to her paws. “Why? How? Why? What’s going on?”

Snowpaw narrowed her eyes apologetically and batted his tail away, eyes glittering with annoyance. “Sorry,” she muttered. “But I’d like an explanation, please. You can’t just drop something like this on me and then not say anything else!”

Rainbird sighed. "Do you remember how I made you come with me to his den after the dog attack? And you saw his mouth foaming and his claws out?"
