*Running with the Flood* A Warrior Cat RP~Open~

He purred amusedly "We'll see about that!"

Redfrond reached the entrance of camp and then went to his den for a nap
“I’m going to go talk with Whiteshine. See you later!” She waved her tail and bounded away, practically crashing into her mother. “Hi!”

"Hello," She greeted her daughter
“So, I have to ask you something,” she said quickly, going off immediately. “I was supposed to sneak up on Rosepaw, but he saw my white pelt and was ready and beat me! Now he’s ahead of me in our game and I want to know how to use my white fur to my advantage. Could you help?” She looked up with hopeful eyes, yet not having any idea if Whiteshine has understood a word that had come out of her mouth.

Floodpaw rolled a stone between her paws, doing it for no reason in particular.

Flamefrost noticed Floodpaw alone, like usual, and hesitantly walked up to her, remembering their last encounter. “Hi,” she mewed.

“Hi,” Floodpaw said flatly. “What do you want? To tell me I should rethink being a warrior again?” The reason is made her so angry was because she sadly half-believed it, and to hear it from her own mother made it worse.

“No... I just wanted to see how you were.” She crouched beside her daughter. “Do you want to talk?”

“Not really.”

Flamefrost shifted her paws uncomfortably. “I-I’ll just go then.” She stood up.

“No, wait,” Floodpaw sighed. “I’ll talk.”

She sat down again. “I’m sorry about what I said.”

“I’m not mad at you,” the young apprentice replied. “I’m just sad that you of all cats would say that, because I thought that you would believe in me even when I myself don’t.”

“I do believe in you!” Flamefrost told her, surprised. “I just believed that whatever you were meant to do, maybe it wasn’t being a warrior. Whatever you decide to do, though, I’ll support you.”

“Thank you,” Floodpaw mewed, feeling happy for the first time in as long as she could remember. She licked her mother.

Flamefrost purred and returned the lick.

She nodded slowly. "Yes, I think I can."
