*Running with the Flood* A Warrior Cat RP~Open~

Flamefrost slipped silently through the undergrowth as she kept watch over his skills.
He stopped when he was a few cat-lengths from Tallpines and opened his jaws, pulling scents over his scent glands. His ears were pricked and alert as well. Soon, he picked out his first target; a mouse. He heard in scuffling on the very edge of Tallpines and its scent bathed his tongue. He crouched down and kept his tail slightly off the ground so it wouldn't brush any leaves. Slowly he inched forward. He could see the gray body of it now so he leaped, landing squarely on top of it and gave it a swift bite to the neck before it could let out a squeak to warn other prey of his arrival.

He proceeded to bury it for later and after he buried it, he saw a red/brown body in the tree beside him. Wiggling his haunches, he leaped into the tree and pursued the squirrel. The squirrel was quick, but he had done some practice on his own and hunted in trees before, so he had also soon caught it. He picked his way down the tree and buried it next to the mouse. It went on like this until he had 2 voles, 1 squirrel, 1 mouse, and 2 birds.
