Bramblestar's neck fur fluffed, but that was the only sign he let show that he was angry. "Thank you for telling me. Please let Sunstrike know she will be needing to take care of our kits for the time being. I need to think for a little while.."

She dipped her head and left him alone. She entered the nursery and told Sunstrike about what had happened in a low voice.
