Blackblood flexed his claws, his eyes held a silent fury. "I think it'd be more of a punishment to hurt Beetlepaw than her, don't you agree?" His eyes flashed menacingly as he asked Darksky“What are you talking about?” she asked innocently, rolling her eyes in an attempt to look nonchalant.
“I think you should be the one to answer that,” Darksky answered, appearing beside her. Her voice was calm but her eyes shone with immeasurable rage.
“I think it would. But we should also give her something else to remember the lesson by, just in case she doesn’t get the message.”Blackblood flexed his claws, his eyes held a silent fury. “And what do you mean by that?” Lilyflight demanded, her heart lurching.
“I’m talking about your kits,” Darksky responded smoothly. “Put one more paw wrong, and you best believe you won’t do it again.”
Darksky pulled Blackblood to the side, away from Lilyflight. “If that scares her enough we won’t have to touch any kit,” she hissed. “But if it comes to that, we won’t kill it.”Blackblood looked uncertain. He didn't like hurting kits. He didn't say anything.
