13 week blue wheaten americana bantam.
Feeding dumor all flock, has been outside on soil.
Noticed runny “pink” mucous poop the last week or so. First thought intestinal lining but she was acting less fiesty.
Separated inside and treated w Corid
Oral drench and in water the last 3 days.
Poop no longer pink but still runny/ brown. Suggestions? I would like to add her back to the flock but don’t want to too soon. I plan to treat all with Corid total of 7 days but wondering if I should be looking in another direction. Don’t like hearing her poop and all the mucous.
First 2 pics are when she was outside. Last one was today 3 days of Corid.

How is the chick acting now? Is she eating and drinking normally? Do you have a vet that could check the droppings for possible resistant coccidiosis or enteritis? When there is suspected coccidiosis, all are usually treated at the same time. You might offer some probiotics in her food.

She’s in the house in a plastic bin acting normal and scratching/ pecking. I have a vet that will do a fecal but it’s an hr away. I thought I couldn’t do probiotics with Corid? Or just no vitamins? I have a rooster booster powder but it has probiotics AND vitamins. Can I give plain yogurt? Also I have been making fresh Corid water daily.
I have valbazen and safeguard in my “chicken toolbox”. I’ve had chickens for 4 yrs and my chicks tend to always get coccidiosis and worms. Any harm in deworming this early? Thanks!!

Probiotics can be given anytime. Many feeds have them already, but I doubt that Dumor has it. You could mix a little plain yogurt—a tsp on some feed. Cottage cheese and buttermilk have some as well.

Will do. I just remembered I was giving Purina all flock originally then switched to dumor grower finisher. Would that cause mucous stool if it was an abrupt change? My first time with bantams. I hear they can be delicate
