Hi all. I dewormed my flock with Valbazen 10 days ago and need to give them a second dose. I’ve also noticed several of my hens have diarrhea since the first dose so I got some Probios to give them. Can I give them the Probios today along with the second dose of Valbazen or should I wait a couple days? Also, has anyone else noticed diarrhea after the flock has been dewormed? They are all acting fine. Still eating and drinking and have lots of energy.

Hi @jojorose8
yes you can go ahead and give them the probis along with the second dose.
I have found some of my ladies will drink a little more when I dewormed them which leads to runnier poops so it could be just that. I wouldn't worry at this stage.
If it continues, them perhaps it will take looking at again but I suspect it will ease of within the next week.

You can give your chickens boiled plain white rice mixed with buttermilk after worming for a couple days, you can put it in their feed if you wish. It should stop the diarrhea.

Oh, great idea! Thanks!

Thanks! We did notice they were going through more water than usual.
