My ducklings (all three are Pekins, 3 weeks old) have runny poop. It’s still brown and they have been eating their food and water the same amount as normal. They seem to be perfectly fine other wise. Is it okay? They haven’t always had this. What should I do?

Also, what are you feeding them? Include snacks as well please. :welcome
I am feeding them DuMor Poultry Chick 20% grower with 1tbs of brewers yeast (niacin) per 6oz. They are soon going to move down to a lower protein and less brewers yeast. I haven’t been feeding them any treats as none of my shops had grit and I read that for treats unless they are foraging they need grit to help digest. Is that true? But that’s all I feed them :)

It is my understanding they would need grit provided with snacks if not foraging. When you can get a poop pic that will really help. We have some pretty amazing folks on here!!

If they are eating anything other than duck feed, grit should be provided to prevent possible compaction in the gizzard are further down the track. If they are grazing, grit should be provided.

Really? Cool! Imma break out the snacks later if they aren’t sick 😁 In about an hour I’ll be home so I’ll check to see if theres any new poops.

My ducks have runny poo all the time - and solid, and it comes in just about any color depending on what they ate. They're likely fine. You can keep the Brewer's Yeast going for awhile yet though. Do you have liquid vitamin B complex? You might start adding that in as a supplement until their legs are fully developed. The pekins seem to need extra for their leg development. You can search the threads here and see how numerous are the leg issues people have with their pekin ducklings.
