Hi.

I am new to the forum, as well as new to the pet chicken world. I recently purchased 3 chicks (mutts I am sure, the color dyed easter variety). One of the chicks had curled toes which I was able to fix with a splint that I found on this site. The problem is the chick does not seem to be growing. The other 2 have more than doubled in size, and have most of their feathers. The little one, Vio, just doesnt seem to be growing. Eating and drinking fine and seems happy and healthy in all other regards. But only a small amount of feather growth on the wings and really just stunted. Advice? Is there something I should be doing?

Thanks
MOnica

As long as the chick is eating and drinking and otherwise seems healthy, I don't think there is anything else to do. She may catch up eventually, or perhaps she is just a different breed than the others. Sometimes the feed stores get the standards and bantoms mixed up. Good luck with your chicks.
