My Little baby is about 2-3 weeks old. He isn't growing like his mate is. His belly is hard and he has a poopie belly. I do keep an eye and wash his butt with warm water. But I can't found out how to help him poop. He is eating and drinking. Any advice? New duck mom I am scared I will lose him.

Jeez that can turn fatal fast
most experts are in bed by now... you cleaned its butt hole well so it shouldnt be pasty butt..

iam no expert... but ide stop feeding untill futher advice from an expert...

But ide start off with a warm bath, mix epsom salt and coconut oil in the water so it drinks some. Epsom salt is a laxitive for ducks.

If no coconut oil then olive oil or canola.

Small amounts of each but enough that it gets some, Massage the vent lightly

I've only used Epson salts once, and that was on a chicken that I tubed a bunch of fluids to. I worry that giving Epsom salts to one that is dehydrated could worsen dehydration. So to answer your question, I really don't know. :(
