RUNT, HELP Please

Thanks. I wonder if she will ever lay eggs? This is my first experience with a stunted chicken. If she does lay eggs, I hope they are the right size for her body.

sorry to ruin your day, but my runt died last night.

Not sure what actually happened. He was getting food and water the day before. But today, I went to count he chicks and he wasn't there. I found him in the coop. Feel so bad for the little fella. Well its about time I get over it. Some chicks die and there isn't always something you can do about it. So sad I loved the little guy

Thank you all for your sympathy. i'm slowly getting over it.

I lost a hen this summer to a coyote in the mid afternoon. I'm still very saddened for her loss. I have a habit of immediately replacing animals that are passed. I need to stop that as I do this for cats and dogs too.

The front two I l bought from her loss. The one in the back is the runt I hatched. The other two are 2 months younger then my runt.
