Runt rooster?

I've got a few Mosaics that are nearing 3 months (born June 6th). As they're relatively a new breed, and an unrecognized hobby breed at that, there's not a lot of standardization yet. As such, I'm trying to determine if one of my cockerels is a runt, and if so if it's due to any factors I can affect or if he was just born that way. Are some chickens just slow growers? Never had a runt before

Attached are pics of chick in question alongside my other cockerel from same batch and in hand. Pics are a little old (it's too dang hot to chase chickens), but he hasn't grown much.

As much as I would love another pullet (I only have one...who still may be a cock in disguise boo), the waddles/comb are telling me otherwise.

He's not my top choice for breeding in terms of form/looks, but boy is he the sweetest little guy!

Yeah, you should. I have a runtie who is the most precious li'l guy ever. He is a troublemaker though.

Haha I should have clarified... he's not gonna be my breeder, but I am gonna keep him since he's such a chill dude. Against my Husband's better wishes he's quickly turning into a house chicken...his size makes him perfect to perch on my shoulders during TV time!
