So many pretty chickens!! What are the chickens in the first picture? They are spotted ones? Uhmm... Пятнистый?? what are those?
It is very similar to the Oryol breed.
The Oryol
It is close to group fighting, and, Malayan hens. Oryol - old Russian breed. The history of creation of this breed totals more than 200 years. The origin isn't known. Versions of its origin: assume that breed is deduced by the prince Orlovym-Chesmensky (from here and its name). Earlier there was a version about an Asian origin.
She assumed that the Oryol hens occur from Malayan fighting and "bearded" breeds to motley coloring which were called as the Persian hens. Before the Oryol hens called gilyandsky. It specifies that their origin is connected with a bird who is taken out to Russia from Iran. The Oryol breed was widespread in Russia in the XI X-th century. Breed is outwardly beautiful and unusual, belongs to meat - egg, differs a good yaytsenoskost during winter time and gives excellent meat.
Standards are established on breed by Russian imperial society of poultry breeders in 1914.
For breed the following signs of an exterior are characteristic: the raised statement of a trunk on high strong feet, a peculiar bend of a long neck, and also a characteristic structure of a skull with a wide and flat occipital bone, with the hung nadbrovny arches and the short bent yellow beak that gives a species of a bird of prey. Magnificent plumage of a neck and nape in shape «a round sphere»; the small low crest, sprouted small shchetinisty plumelets, so-called, malinovidny «the cut raspberry». The Oryol differ from Malayan hens existence of "beard" and "tanks", longer, well fledged tail and magnificently fledged nape of a neck. Eyes of reddish-amber color. Poorly developed red ear lobes and ear rings are almost closed by a beard and tanks. Breast full and roundish. A back' wide with an inclination to a tail. At a cock trunk statement more vertical, than at hens. Feet tetradactyl with long shins and not fledged metatarsus of yellow color. Plumage the dense brilliant. Versions of coloring of plumage: scarlet, white, print, black, makhagonovy (colors of mahogany), etc. As the most attractive among all versions consider print coloring when on the basic red brown to a background small white and black spots are distributed. A beard light gray with brown and white feathers.
Efficiency: live mass of hens 2,2, cocks of 3,1 kg. The best individuals weigh to 4,5 kg and above, hens to 3,0 kg. Yaytsenoskost of 140-150 eggs. Mass of egg of 58-60 g. Shell coloring white and light-cream. Breed differs endurance, fitness to severe climate, unpretentiousness to feeding and contents conditions. Cocks differ aggression, force. To shortcomings of breed refer late age of the beginning of a yaytsenoskost, slow growth and a slow operyaemost of chickens, a low yaytsenoskost of hens.
