Rusty waterer!

My galvanized metal waterer is starting to rust a bit. Is this going to harm the chickens? Any I can do about it except buy a new one???

There are actually some good componets in the rust that benefit chickens but I don't hink you want them drinking a lot of it. You can switch over to waterer cup drinkers if you are planning on buying a new one anyway. They take up less space and are easier to fill since the bucket is outside of the run.
