Hello from Alamo!
I've had RIR and BR for over a year now, picked up some BO and Aussies last night.
Mine are being raised for eggs, meat, pest control and, of course, the free fertilizer. lol
I started out with a chicken tractor but have since moved them to a coop/pen by night, free-range by day. My purpose for raising chickens is I am trying to become more self-sufficient in growing/raising my own food organically, or at the very least - as naturally as possible, in attempts to live a healthier life.
Any advice is greatly welcome since I am certainly no pro in the chicken dept.
