Sad day in South Central PA

I the past 24 hours 8 teens lost their lives in 2 separate traffic accidents about 50 miles apart. In both accidents the children had just left school and lost control of their vehicles. Five friends died in one accident and twin boys and their younger sister in the other. Tragic accidents which appear to related to inexperienced driving.

My prayers go out to the families and friends of all of these young people whose lives were tragically cut short.

As a retired LEO and parent the most frightened I have ever been was putting my daughter behind the wheel of a car and seeing her drive away.

Oh how sad. It is so much more tragic when it is a young life cut short. May their family's find strength and may their souls find peace.

Very sad, especially this time of year. I grew up in South Eastern PA. My high school always played sports against the New Oxford High School. Sending prayer their way...

Just so sad. My thoughts are with the families as well as the first responders who had to witness and clean up these terrible accidents.
