sad day: update on my sick hen. shes gone

SAd day today.

my hen had been sick for about a week. not sure with what. i have made threads about her and appriciate everyones input here on byc.

this is a great website for help. this was our first chicken to die. and its hard.

i didnt know how attached i really was to her. to all of them.
THis is her last picture. i cleaned her butt up again, bathed her. wrapped her in a towel and she sat with me. i had my hubby take some photos.
i am sad

she would have been 1 years old in june.

these are here sisters, who i am sure miss her already. (tears)

Okay now that she is gone now, i must go on and care for my 2 human kids that are hungry for breakfeast. Hope everyone here has a better day than me.

Awe, I am so sorry. I know the feeling. I lost my favorite right before Christmas. At least you know you did the very best you could do for her. You're gonna miss her for a long time. I still miss mine a lot.
