So….. I went on a mini vacation and left my son in charge of the farm. One of the two hen brooding got taken by a predator. I took the remaining two eggs left and candled them. They looked good but it had been three days with out warmth I put them under the one broody hen I had left. Today one of the 5 chicks hatched. I relocated mom and fam to a safer location. I am so happy that Joe has a bloodline. !!!!
