Sad morning

RIP my beautiful silkie DeeDee. No sign of injury or any kind of strain or stress. She seemed a little sick for a few days a few weeks ago with a funny raspy voice,, but then she seemed fine. She was out with th flock yesterday but didn't come out of the coop today. Hoping she just went peacefully in her sleep. She was at least 6 maybe older. It's always tough when you have no idea what happened -- no way to know what you could have done to help or at least to be with her when she passed.

It sounds like she will be deeply missed. Sorry for your loss.
