Ok so only have a few more days left for a hatch. This morning I checked on the eggs and 1 had black dots on it and there was no movement inside. The egg was on day 23 and was alive and well last night. Humidity was between 55-70 and temp 95-99. I would like to know if anyone can tell me what might have happened to this little duck friend who unfortanelty did not make it. No, I did not kill him when opening the egg, the duckling was dead beforehand. Anyways, any help is much appreciated.

It happens. Sometimes they quit developing at that stage of incubation. Best wishes with the other eggs..
Also the temp depends on what incubator your using but sounds too low. 99.5 to 100 for forced air incubation.

Ok thanks. Why would they stop developing? Is there a certian reason? Sorry I just don't understand, that poor little duckie
