Hey there,
I have the most unlucky rooster... I got a baby roo by accident (insted of an adult) that arrived with a new flock and I could not return him. He must have been 2 months. The hens attacked him brutally with an attempt to murder him. I had to separate him. He was sad for a month, ate very little. A friend advised to give him so protin so i offered boild egg and his appetited improved. Gave him a bit of canned cat food (with cereal and veg not too heavy on meat) just to encourage him. His mood improved, he started to grow and even developed new roos noises. I saw the light. He is 3-4 months.
Then everything went horribly wrong. Ive noticed his poop was very runny, light brown - no blood. Last week i went to visit the flock and he had a droopy wing. The shoulder part sticking away from the body. I wrapped it with a bandage to give it some support. It comes off constantly.
A week has passed and no improvement. He is wobbly and cant hold his balance. I guess his balance is off from the bandaged wing. I really don't know.
His drinks a lot of water, but eats very little. His diarhea got really bad, his butt is all dirty. I stopped giving fermented layered feed, no more egg or cat bites. I thought it was my fault. No change however, and watery poop still continues. He hardly moves, between the wing and the diarhea...
I dont know what to do... He is a lovely fella and will follow you like a dog, a wobbly dog. Got my heart! I don't want to give up just yet. No chicken vet around. Please, any ideas?

Sounds like he's been unwell from the start. He could have something internally wrong. Bad kidney or liver. Those can take a few months to make them very sick. I don't think you can do anymore than what you are doing. Have you tried daily poultry vitamins?
