Sounds like she is just getting water into her nares since it only happens when in the tub. I have also seen it happen with mine when they keep dunking their heads into their water buckets.

I got 5 ducklings that I'm currently raising this way! All 5 had leg injuries from shipping and the farm store just gave them to me because they didn't want to see them hurt anymore. 4 out of the 5 have completely healed, but my one special little guy (or girl) has a foot that doesn't work. It's curled to the side. I honestly think he may have been born that way. Still gets around though just fine! Just give them clean bedding, water with electrolytes and good feed and they should be just fine. Also watch the temperature.
I've thought about mocking something up, but I'm not sure how to go about it.Have you considered making a boot for your duckling or making a hobble? @QueenieMinx
That is very sad, same thing happened at another store we went to, however the pen wasn’t packed but there was this little bitty duckling getting trampled...it wouldn’t have survived the night with the ducklings it was with so I brought it home! And I absolutely love her!!Glad you brought those babies home. At our local TSC today the ducks were so packed in one container they couldn't move. They had little ducklings and older ones four times the size of the others in there. It was heartbreaking
The little ones was soaked in poop and food, the bigger ones wasn’t that wet or dirty. And after talking to a couple of my employees about the situation, without me saying where I was at they immediately guessed and said they have been in trouble for that before. The employee was not friendly about it at all, she wasn’t even in her department they had to page her. Anyways with all of that said I went back Friday and they looked better, but none of the little ones was there, so I’m hoping someone bought them and they didn’t die.All the ducklings look wet and to be warming up/drying off under the light. Perhaps the employee is right and that was their third waterer full, it certainly looks as if they've splashed things everywhere, they could have easily splashed it empty.
