Yeah its not fun at all. But I guess I good way to look at it is that they had one happy life. Try to make their last days as nice as possible.

I don't do numbers any more. Whether happily

or sadly,

they seem to change so often.
My pair of white runners went to a lovely farm last week

then later my fawn drake was taken by (I think) a hawk

But as of almost 3 weeks ago, 3 ducklings hatched in my incubator

.
Oh, and Hannabelle the Cannibelle, my egg-eating Red Rock, found a home with someone who takes unwanted chickens

Well now I am officially to 19 silkies

Flower passed sometime last night
She was 5 years old

I actually didnt cry.. If anything at all I smiled. I was glad that I got to spend a special day with her before she left..

The only thing I felt bad about is that we can't spend more time together..
She was the best silkie I have ever had.. and I will always remember her...

I never did numbers... becuase I never really wanted to know how many I had lol.. Becuase I was sure is was way more then I needed...
