Sad time I just lost my first chick

I knew he... or it ( dont know the sex) was smaller I thought he was just the runt. He may have had a problem eating but I knew that I had seen him pecking at the food and water. I guess it is just sad cause I had named him "little buddy". I would check on him every chance I got, but this morning when I got home from work he was laying there and the other chicks were walking over him and he did not move. I knew when I picked him up. RIP little buddy I will miss you.

I'm sorry too. I know how bad that feels. I lost my little Petunia last Sat. and I still feel sad. All my chicken loving friends tell me there was nothing I could have done. But it still hurts.
