I have about 4 shipped eggs that have saddled air sacs going into lockdown. They have been upright in an auto turner so far.

Should I place them in an egg carton to hatch out, or just lay them on their side?

In your experience, do you prefer to hatch all eggs out in a carton or laying on their sides?

.. my feelings thus far are, if they were incubated and developed upright, then they should be hatched upright ... wouldnt change things up at the end ..

Thanks! That’s what I am trying. Hatch day is today and 1 pipped so far.

I recently had severely saddled air sacs in my shipped eggs. I honestly didn't think they'd even hatch. I put them on their side during lockdown with the rest of the eggs and all of them hatched!!
