Saddles or not

Well I was doing some yardwork today and I looked over my fence into my neighbors yard. He has chickens and whenever I get the chance I look at them. Its not my fault Im a chicken stalker.

So I saw that his chicken's backs were completely picked clean. The were bare which i am guessing is the roo's fault. So i am thinking of buying them some saddles but odds are the neighbor won't put them on. I feel bad for the chickens, What should I do?

It never hurts to offer them saddles. If they use them great, if not, well...you tried. Maybe they'll use them if you offer to put them on the hens? Without them, the poor girls can get sun burned too.

You never know, maybe the neighbor would appreciate the saddles (they may be aware that they exist).

I'm completely new...what are these "saddles" you are talking about????? Like really? Saddles? Like a tiny saddle, kinda like a horse would wear? Where would you get such a think? Any pics of one that you could share? Or a link?

No, not like a horse would wear-lol! These are for the backs of hens who are being picked on by roos. They're the chosen ones-the ones the roos like the most. They're made of cloth and protect the hens back from the roos, so they're able to regrow their feathers. Here's a link:
