Could this be a urine burn?
My jersey giant has a really red butt and it’s up her breast as well. I just soaked her in water with epsom salt. I’ve had chickens for years and this is a new issue I’ve never had. I don’t see any lice or mites. I did order ivermectin and permethrin just incase.
Shes still running around and full of energy. I’ve separated her since the soaking and plan on putting desitin on her once she dries.
Any advice would help. Thank you.
