Well, maybe I can already post my first contribution.
I found this info on the internet and adapted it to make it easier and faster...it is supposed to be safe for a poultry and also bug repellent.
**********
1. Take orange peel from 4 oranges
2. Two cinnamon sticks
3. Two vanilla beans (real beans)
4. 32 oz. bottle of white vinegar
5. Mix the ingredients and put in a container to "brew" for a month, shaking every few days to invigorate the brew.
6. When it turns a little tanish color and smells fragrant, strain and put in spray bottle to clean walls and floors of coop.
**********
You can also dilute with water and use with a mop too.
To make it easier and faster, I substituted ground cinnamon powder, pure vanilla extract, pure orange extract from the grocery store and mixed it up with the vinegar and used it immediately after shaking it up for a minute or two.

Vinegar is a natural disinfectant and kills mold and doubles as an ant repellent. The other parts help in some way, but I forget exactly what those were...they do help to make it smell better than straight vinegar!
I cleaned out my small coop this morning and sprayed it around and wiped the residue off. Checked a few minutes later and there was not a single fly around. Yeah!
