what are some good ideas for putting things around the swimming area for ducks? I have a mortar tub they get in to swim and also drink but I notice that sometimes it seems pretty awkward for them getting in and out and I don't want them to hurt their legs.

I put ramps and the silly birds still stand at the sides jumping in an attempt to get in. Dorky ducks!

I even dug my stock tank into a hill so that one side is even with the ground. They still go to the side sticking up. GAH!

thanks for the information. You're right, my ducks seem pretty independant so I don't think they'll use a ramp either. I guess for now I'll just let them do their thing
