Hi All -
We have a really gentle Cream Legbar that we raised up and introduced to our flock earlier this year. She's always been a little bit of an outsider because our New Hampshire Red is, frankly, a complete jerk. Well, today we discovered that she'd been attacked by the New Hampshire and had a large wound on the back of her neck.
I just cleaned her up, applied Neosporin, and Swat, following the directions in a few different threads here for similar wounds. My question is, are her eggs still safe to eat while she's been treated with the topical antibiotic? I realize I may be a little paranoid here, but I guess better safe than sorry.
Thanks!
