So I live in Middle Georgia where it has been cool and rainy the last few days. Last night it was raining too much for me to collect eggs by the time I got home. Today we moved them to a dryer area and I collected the eggs. Some were laid right on the ground and obviously got very wet. Most were laid in the nesting box but rain blew in and they were slightly wet. Are they safe to keep or should I throw them out? Am I taking too much of a risk by keeping them? The ones that were muddy I went ahead and threw away. The main ones I'm wondering about were the partially wet ones from yesterday and today.
