Safe to eat?

Neighborhood dogs killed 3 turkeys: 2 BR hens, and a male chocolate, about 7 months old. I was gone, and my next door neighbor dressed them for me in my absence. Are they safe to eat? I dont think they were chewed on, but rather killed and mangled as i was told.

As it turns out, the birds were chewed up more than I was told by phone. When I got home I learned my neighbor had decided to toss all of them when he found how damaged they were. Probably wise.

Have you culled the dog yet? I would be demanding payment, or there would most definitely be a dead dog very soon. I do NOT put up with that kind of crap.
