safe to mix store bought and home hatched?

I have two 1 week old home hatched cochins and just came home with 12 cornish X from feed store. They have been on medicated water and I would guess they where vaccinated. Mine have had neither. Would it be safe to put them together?

Well I mix feedstore/hatchery chicks and my own, and those from others, but I live dangerously.

The REAL problem that I see, is that CornixhX chicks don't mix well with "real" chicks. They might be ok for the first week or so, but they get fat and can't move, and they don't grow feathers so the others pick at them but they are too heavy to get out of the way...plus they are a million times more dirty and stinky...bleh.
I don't think it's a good idea to put meaties in with regular breeds.
