We had a roo that was suppose to be a white leghorn but turned out to be a Frankin Bird our hens and a smaller roo would not leave him alone had picked a spot on his wings and so on. He was well over 15lbs at 10 weeks decided we would remove him from the flock this evening. biggest question is he was still on medicated starter is the meat OK for us to eat?

It would definitely be safe to eat, but I think there is a withdrawal time recommendation, most likely a week, but that should be on the bag of feed, but here is what is posted on the Mississippi State University Agriculture website:

Poultry feeds are available with several types of medications for preventing or treating diseases. Coccidiostats and/or antibiotics are the two most common medications added to feeds.
Coccidiosis is hard to control by sanitation practices alone. It is best prevented by feeding a coccidiostat, which is a drug added to feed at low levels and fed continuously to prevent coccidiosis. Feed broilers a ration containing a coccidiostat until the last week before slaughtering. Feed an unmedicated feed during this last week

I would switch him to a nonmedicated feed right away, because you don't want to keep him much longer given his size....just because of the risk of congestive heart failure in these birds.'' If it were me......and I had some other kind of non-medicated feed around, I would feed him that for a week rather than buying an entire bag of feed just for one bird for one week.

He should be a really great roasting chicken.....hope you have a big roasting pan!!

They may have picked on him because he was eating all of their food....LOL
