safe to worm broody hen while setting?

Hey guys, just wanting to check in and make sure that my initial thoughts were right and that it is safe for me to worm my broody hen along with the rest of my flock? My blue silkie has been setting for six days, so the eggs are unmedicated.

Also wanted to make sure putting diatomacious earth in the coop is safe with the broody - a small number of my heathens have shown signs of mites, and I dont want to use anything harsh like sevin and risk killing my neighbors bees.
