Safe way to dry out feed?

Two days ago I mixed a 50lb bag of pellets with a large bag of bird seed in a new galvanized bucket for the chicks. It's been raining like crazy here and some of the food has gotten wet. It's not much, just down one side of the container. I've scooped all of the wet stuff out and it's not moldy and does not have a bad odor. Can I lay it out on paper to dry out? Is this safe to do?

Flash bake it on cookie sheets in a hot oven. It will dry it and hopefully heat it quickly to a temperature high to stop any biologic growth.

OK... I can do that! I was thinking of 350 for 5-10 minutes?

You could freeze it in small freezer bags and feed it thawed as a moist food too. Mine love it when I give them "gruel".
