Sage is my little Blue sweddy from Ideal, she and boris just turned 4 months old(infact I think they're around 4 1/2 months old today).

well, for the first time ever she squatted infront of Boris, whom she grew up with, but he didn't seem to have the slightest with what to do yet [IMG]. and when Big Lenny(crested pekin) tryed to take Sage up on her offer, she was like [IMG] [IMG], wich I'm glad of, because -I- just think she's too small.

I'm not sure how big blue swedish are supposed to get, but at almost 5 months, I would think she'd be bigger?? she is around about the same size as my mallard hens. wich just seems way too little??, especially compared to Boris, who is a pekin, she seems right puny. [IMG]

she's healthy, and active, and VERY talky.

Am I being paranoid, or is she right where she's supposed to be??

here's a pic of my 5 month old blue swede/mallard mixes, and their gander. The tub is a 3 gallon rubber feed bowl that I use for their winter water when it's warm enough (above freezing), after the kiddie pools disappear under the snow. the bucket is a 5 gal... just for size reference.

she's no where near that big yet, I have a gallon rubber bicket that I use to transport food, she maybe just stands above it. I will have to get a pic of her tomorrow.
