Saints VS Vikings!

uhhh I think he handled getting hit better than MOST 40 year olds would!
FYI Brett is an IRONMAN!!! Favre holds the record for consecutive starts by a quarterback with 253, so...I think he must handle getting hit pretty darn well.

Let me hear just ONE person say...

GOOD GAME Vikings! It was a VERY good game. Played by the TWO BEST teams in the NFC

Guess who bretts fav team is besides his own. The Saints
You oughta tip your hat to the fella from Mississippi! BRETT FAVRE

It was a VERY good game, and if you re-read my posts, you'll see that I did say that. It was an awesome, on the edge of your seat, game. Played by two very good teams, and the better team won. It could have gone either way. And, yes, there were some bad calls-on both teams. Nothing unusual there. I agree that Favre is a great quarterback. But if he can't handle being hit, it's definitely time to retire-for his sake, and his family's.

That said, we are VERY proud of our Saints, and have waited 40 years for this day. So, how 'bout tipping YOUR hat to Drew Brees, Garrett Hartley, and the rest of our guys?? We are Superbowl Bound, after all!!

The game was awesome! Both teams played well...but we came out with the win! Adrian Peterson coughed up the ball several times. We were able to capitalize on that!

So...GOOD GAME VIKINGS!!

We are beyond thrilled for our Saints! They had the heart and fans behind them...on to Miami!!

That's exactly what I was saying when I said New Orleans NEEDED this win. I know the entire nation saw what happened to New Orleans during Katrina but most don't realize that entire sections have never been rebuilt. Oh, the French Quarter is still the same as always but entire areas/towns and subdivisions still sit devastated - miles and miles of wasteland with abandoned/destroyed homes/cars/boats still standing like ghost towns that some mysterious disease wiped out. Tens of thousands of individuals lost their homes and have never been able to return. I would bet most of them watched this game and it gave them HOPE.

I still have a home in the New Orleans area, my family, children and their families all still live there and we say "Thank you Saints".

I'll say it, "Great game vikings!"

I am sad for Brett, how can one not be? The man is a legend & he played one heck of a game. Everyone keeps harping on his age, come on, his age had nothing to do with how he played last night. He can still thread the needle and make it happen, he & the vikes just couldn't quite pull it together to beat our great team.

As for penalties, we had a ton, some were uncalled for & some were missed, on both sides of the ball, have to say, the refs did not do the best job last night.

All in all, it matters most what the final verdict is, we can hem & haw over this and that but a win is a win, the ugly ones as well as the pretty ones.

You have to admit, this game was nothing short of a rollercoaster ride, it was action packed all the way until that last kick.

I am thrilled to be a Saints fan today, and as the late Buddy D would say, "He!! has officially frozen over!"

Who Dat!!!

"The Saints were not the better team on Sunday. The Vikings had a total of 457 total net yards compared to the Saint's 257 yards. The Saints had a 25 percent efficiency rating on third down and could not move the ball in the second half. The saints were given so many opportunities to punish the Vikings for their mistakes, but repeatedly failed to do so in the second half."

ditto

but congratulations to them just the SAME

Ok, so he CAN handle getting hit. He did not leave the game, although he probably should have. It was an unbelievable game. Favre is a GREAT quarterback, but so is Brees, and if the Vikings would've won, I would be congratulating all of their fans, including you. But they didn't, the Saints did, and all we want is to enjoy our victory without hearing how we shouldn't have won. Saints played a good game, and dangit, they DESERVED to win! It's a game, Guys. Now can we just look forward to the Superbowl? I know I am!
