Sal from south Florida

Thanks for the welcome and the wish well on the hatch .
two chicks been born one is black with some chocalate coloring maybe a drop of white and the other is mainly yellow with some black by the back
she is still sitting in 6-7 eggs I put her in my pen and turned the crate side ways and added food and water for the chicks they started eatin. Already and she continues to sit in the rest of the eggs
I thought they'd all hatch together but I think its been a Day or two since the first two hatched. I candled them with a flashlight all I could see was the air pocket about 1/4 and darkness 3/4

Well the pretty chick was drizzled and recently died I knew I should have raised him myself in a controlled area I think that he caught a lil draft and it got him the other chick is fine but kinda dark and ugly not a keeper but that's the way it goes sometimes just have to b more ontop of it next time poor cheeky stuck with only one lil lone dark chick to care for that eventually may be banished from the property to make way for more eye candy like specimens I had a incubator going for almost a week but had is the key word in that sentence I'm sure better things and times lay ahead we gotta take the good w the bad because its an as is deal
