Jen, since you're a successful breeder of birds & have mentioned you've hatched eggs, what incubator do you use? It's so hard to choose on an incubator. I've heard about people who've had nothing but success from even their first hatch with homemade incubators, & also others who have nothing but trouble with them. I've heard about how the Hovabator is a good brand, but also have heard a few stories where there were failure hatches from these. That's why I was wondering what you used. I've heard people try their first hatch on mutt eggs that aren't all that important, but I know I'd end up keeping them too, lol.

I think I need an incubator with hatch insurance, lol

I use to be good at incubateing with my little giants, but I think once you use them for so long they are no good. I cant hatch a thing in them any more and actually I got so mad at them this weekend I threw them out! LOL I am looking into the brinsea octagon or that round one that I saw some people have, but I cant remember the name of it now. JEN

I also wanted to add that I am not taking any more egg orders due to most of my hens going broody on me. And to those of you who I still owe orders to, I am sorry its taking a bit longer to get them filled. I didnt expect such a mass broodyness! LOL Even with them being silkies this is unusual for this many at once! JEN

Heay thanks brandy! It depends on what colors you want. The black/blue/splash are all broody right now. I am only getting like 1 or 2 eggs a day from them. Same with the white and cuckoo but I am getting buff. If you want an order that consists of mostly buff and then a couple of the other colors I can do that. But Contact me first because I do have one auction up on eggbid that I will fill tomorrow and I want to be sure I get more eggs first before I offer you any. LOL I have to take it day by day now with all these broodies. I ended up having to refund 2 people there money that wanted white and blue/splash eggs, because I am just not getting enough now. But shoot me an E mail and we will work something out if your looking for a mixed order. JEN
