Many include beautiful gardens as well. You will see a variety of coop styles and different chicken breeds. This is a great way to get some ideas for what might work in your backyard or if you can't decide what breed to get. If you already have chickens it's a great way to meet other chicken people, share your knowledge, and become involved in fun chicken activities.[/FONT]
[FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Owners are present to answer all your questions. Feel free to take pictures. At just $8 per vehicle it is a fun and inexpensive family activity and proceeds support our annual Habitat for Hens project.[/FONT]

There is a detailed map with directions to follow a suggested route -- or you can go any way you wish. It's fun to start off at Coop Tour Headquarters (Stop #1 on the map) for fun kick-off activities, refreshments, and a chance to meet Author, Gretchen Anderson, then continue on the tour as suggested.
