Sally's GF3 thread

Sally,, you probably can make Doggie cookies GF.
I could... but GF flour is pricey. Our dog is spoiled. But not that spoiled! :gig

Freya gets several cookies in a day. That's why I cut them small, like 1/2-3/4 inch square. They are "kitchen tax." I get a cup of coffee? Freya gets a cookie, because that's the tax on a cup of coffee. Cup of tea? Yup, same thing.

Not everything is taxed. Sometimes she gets a taste of what I'm eating. She licks the peanut butter knife clean, for example. I don't want to strain the ability of the dish washer to get all the PB off the knife.

I've only been on this site for a month or 2, and I've only just found this thread. I've been skimming through it, and I love it!

I'm not retired, but I've been a stay-at-home mom for 15 years now, with no plans to return to the "work force." What I do at home is a full time job and more. I'm very thankful to have an amazing husband who supports us in every way imaginable. I add this tidbit because at the beginning of this thread, you had said you have so much to do that you wonder how you ever had time for a job. I wonder that too! How did I ever work and get anything else done?!

I enjoy gardening and funnily enough, I also have an uphill and downhill garden. One is "the back" and the other is "the front". The front is more successful due to soil quality. I added my chickens this year (July) and I'm loving them. I've always wanted bees as well.

I just wanted to say hello and I'm looking forward to perusing this thread in depth. Have a great day!

Thank you so much! I'm dealing with a bit of a chicken emergency this morning, but I will definitely add some pictures.
@ChickenChick46, :frow Hi! Welcome to the thread!

Pictures of your garden, chickens, pets, anything, are always welcome. Said she who doesn't post many pictures because it's a hassle to transfer them from my phone to my laptop.

Here are some pictures I've gotten recently. A night blooming cereus that I luckily caught before it closed first thing in the morning, my first cucumber, a butterfly on my hibiscus, native bee balm, and an adorable green anole.
