Sally's GF3 thread

Last night was round two of the severe storms. We were in the level 1 risk area (of 5 levels, with 1 being low, 5 being high). I don't take that lightly any more; just about all of lower Michigan was in level 1 last Friday when tornados came through and killed 4 people.

I had the news on briefly and no one was talking about storm damage, so I take that as a good sign.

When I went out with Freya for potty duty in the dark at 6 am, I saw no sign of wind or hail damage (I couldn't see much, anyway). My metric was the places where hubby had patched the last storm's washout. It was mostly intact. We got some heavy rain, but I think because it was short periods instead of one long bout, the washout was less.

And the power stayed on.

Whew.

I'm glad everything is good and you are safe.

Glad all was well at your place. We had hail. Thunder and lightning started as soon as we went to bed at 10. My Sunshine girl is scared of thunder so we kept each other company until it stopped. Thankfully it didn't last very long.
