Salmon Fav - 4 weeks...pullet?

Hi all,
This is my first post and our first go with chickens, so forgive me if I am not in proper form!
From what I’ve read, I think our Salmon Fav, Matilda, is a pullet, but the darker feathers are making me a little nervous. She was bought at a grain store, so cane from a hatchery. Hoping maybe she’s just a “muddy” girl. Any thoughts?

Hatchery quality pullet.
Below is my hatchery quality SF cockerel at 5 weeks just for comparison of "darkness".

Agreed, it is a pullet. Hatchery birds are often very dark or smutty as they feather out.

Yep it is a girl! She'll sort out and be fine. This is my hatchery girl

Hooray! Thank you all so much. The thought of her being a “him” felt too hard after feeding her vitamins by dropper for her second week and becoming fully attached
