Thank you.But I question them being pure bred faverolles. There's no beard/muffs.
5 toes, feathered feet, yes. But.... if not pure bred, then colors can get tossed out depending upon what mixed with. Have to wait longer to see how they develop when fully feathered.
Neither bird is a cockerel. They’re simply hatchery-quality Faverolles pullets. Dark breasts are common in hatchery lines
That would be good news for me. I'm not too concerned about breed standard since they're just for my backyard flock. This one looks just like mine that I'm questioning, dark feathers, but small comb.This is mine. Also from ideal (I think). Same age as yours but these pics were taken last week, so about 5 weeks here. I keep flip flopping but am leaning pullet with terrible coloring.
