Got my first chicks yesterday and I am trying to figure out if they are roos or hens. Three of them are around three weeks and one is one week. I've heard multiple ways to tell and I know it will be obvious once they are adult but I can't get attached to the roos since we live in a neighborhood and they will have to go.

Hmmm, I have never seen striping on Faverolles chicks before, so I am a little concerned about a couple of yours possibly being crosses. I may be wrong-- hopefully the Faverolles experts will chime in here.

It is a little early to sex them, but males will soon have a patchy color pattern with black mixed in, and females will be paler, with more even coloring. Wait until they've feathered out a bit more and post again.
