I was wondering if anyone has had any issues with their faverolle roosters being aggressive. Also if they have had any experience with faverolle roosters being very big feather peckers with their hens

On a very rare occasion I have had an aggressive male (maybe 1 out of 100). However mine are not hatchery birds so that may make a difference. I have never had one pick feathers out of hens.

My only hatchery Faverolles cockerel was actually quite a wimp

If you're having feather pecking issues, my first thought is usually how much space do you have and how many birds? Is he overmating the hens, or attacking them? How many hens are there for him, and to they have space to get away from him?

I have 2 SF chicks and I was hoping that you could help me confirm which one is a roo and hen.

This is the chick that I think is the rooster due to the much darker coloring.

Sorry for the bad pic, this one was moving, though it does show the wing feathers quite well. This is suspected hen.

I have it's twin. Roo. At 10 weeks, grew out of yellow head.
