I will have to take some clearer pics and put them up tomorrow. I keep looking and changing my mind on what they are at first I thought 3 hens then 1 hen and 2 roos so not sure.My guess is male because of the dark feathers, but might just be the lighting. IIRC ours were dark-ish on the wings and some female birds are just darker depending on where you get them. If it’s more brown than black you might have hens.
At what age do you think I will know although I have an idea that I have 2 cockerels and 1 henPossible male, first pic with the more prominent comb and some dark chest feathers. However, some poorly colored females will have dark brown feathers…but a male will get black chest feathers (not brown). When we have had male SF, the comb began to pink up around 3 weeks, and was more obvious (although not large) at 3 weeks.
You have two cockerels and a pullet. These are some more pics hope there better
The one in pic #5 might be a boy, as it looks like there are some dark chest feathers coming in. It's too early to tell anything for sure though. These are some more pics hope there better
Hi that's what I thought. I was just hoping for 2 pullets as I would have to rehome 1 cockerelYou have two cockerels and a pullet.
