Salmon favorelles...think I have a roo!

Mine was from mcmurray. Odd thing is that they sent two sexed favorelles and it appears both look alike. Ah well. I wasn't the original purchaser, so not much I can say to the hatchery.

Hatchery birds can be off in color, but not sure they would be THIS off. Mine doesn't have a pink comb yet, but he's only three weeks old.

Doesn't mpc use mcmurray? I seem to remember that on the box.

I checked the box...mpc uses Meyer Hatchery. Maybe the Sexers are asleep at the switch smoking those cigars!

On your wheaten varieties (such as the salmon Faverolle), the roosters will color in very dark and the hens will stay a pale buff color.
