I saw on the news people ordering poultry from Ohio were getting salmonella. Is it a real threat? I ordered 15 chickens from mypetchicken.com. They arrive the weeks of 9/6 and 10/17. I later learned MPC gets their birds from Meyer and I believe Meyer is based in Ohio. Should I be worried? The news didn't really elaborate how prevalent of a problem it was, so I don't know what to think. I really hope it's not a problem because I've been just counting the days on my new arrivals.
